The darkness is almost impenetrable and what little you see consists of dust and bones.
The air is heavy in this decrepit place. You light a torch, revealing before you an ominous corridor.

After treading carefully along the corridor your torch illuminates a decayed coffin on the ground, the lid is slightly open and something appears to shine in the torchlight.
Do you choose to leave it undisturbed? [Y] / [🅽]

Stumbling in the Dark

As you reach down to lift the lid of the coffin a massive tongue whips out in an attempt to pull you in.
You narrowly escape but drop your torch, extinguishing it.
The coffin, or whatever it is, shrieks in frustration and you are left helplessly stumbling in the dark.

Misfortune! You outrun the beast but arrive at a dead end.
A torch on the wall, lit god knows when, provides a taunting light.
The beast draws near.
You brandish your sword in feeble attempt to defend yourself but to no avail.
The beast devours you.

Your mind races through every choice in your life that lead you to this grizzly end.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure.
